The National Health Policy Training Alliance for Communities of Color would like to hear about your experiences with our nation’s health care system. Have you or someone you know experienced any of the following problems?

Discrimination in the health care system due to race or ethnicity;
Difficulty obtaining care due to economic, language, or cultural barriers;
Being uninsured or underinsured; or
Difficulty enrolling in public programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

Collecting personal stories is an important part of our efforts to end racial and ethnic disparities in health and health care. These stories show the public how critical our initiatives are. We often connect people in our story bank with reporters or elected officials who want to talk with real people who are affected by the issues listed above. Make your voice heard!
